The city of San Leandro is one that is diverse and cultured. For its citizens, San Leandro provides a Marina, two golf courses, and a large community library. This attractive city was first discovered in 1772 by San Leandro, a Spanish explorer. During the 1800's and 1900's San Leandro became famous for its abundant, delicious cherry harvest. Since then, San Leandro citizens have celebrated the Cherry Festival.
